Academics
California Content Standards
Crocker Highlands follows California Common Core Standards covering Math and English Language Arts. We also use the national Next Generation Science Standards.
Standardized Testing
Like all schools in California since 2015, our 3rd through 5th grade students participate in standardized testing provided by the Smarter Balanced Assessment System in April or May of each year.
For information about these assessments
The primary purpose is to provide information to the school site about overall levels of academic achievement as well as individual student data. In addition, parents receive their individual students’ scores in the mail each fall.
