What is the Crocker Walkathon?

The Walkathon is Crocker Highlands Elementary’s signature annual event where students, families, and our community come together to raise essential funds for our school. It’s a fun, family-friendly day filled with laps, cheers, and community spirit—all for a great cause. The funds raised go directly towards ensuring our students have access to enriching programs that enhance their school experience.

2024 Walkathon Recap

Our 2024 Walkathon was an incredible success, thanks to the spirit and dedication of the Crocker community! With a record-breaking 90% of our students lacing up their shoes and hitting the track, we reached our highest participation rate in the past four years. Through everyone’s generosity, we not only met but surpassed our fundraising goal, ensuring critical support for essential student programs this year.

Highlights from 2024 Walkathon

• Participation: 90% of students showed up to support Crocker!
• Fundraising: We achieved our goal, ensuring funding for vital programs in arts, physical education, technology, and more.
• Miles Walked: Collectively, Crocker students walked an astounding 5,749 laps, totaling 2,300 miles—enough to walk from Crocker Highlands all the way to Mexico City!

Where the Funds Go

In the face of district-wide budget cuts, funds raised by our Walkathon are more essential than ever. Donations ensure our students have access to vital resources like the library, technology, classroom aides, music, art, PE, and social-emotional support. Every lap and every pledge helps sustain the programs that make Crocker such a special place to learn and grow.
